  • What is Buzzmath?
Buzzmath is a website and mobile application that focuses on learning and practicing middle school mathematics skills. It promotes mastery through immediately detailed feedback and randomly generated values that allows missed problems to be retried. It also contains tools that allow teachers to follow student progress through detailed reports.
  • What standard is Buzzmath based on?
Buzzmath is based on the NCTM curriculum in the NCTM Middle School book and the Common Core State Standards in the 3 Common Core Books.
  • Where is Buzzmath developed and by whom?
Buzzmath is developed by a team of American math teachers, programmers, designers and illustrators based throughout North America.
  • Who is it for? What grade level is it for?
Buzzmath is for middle school students. It can be used at school, home, or anywhere with Internet access.
  • How do I log on to Buzzmath?
If you received an activation code, please go to: www.buzzmath.com/join
If you already created your account, please log in to www.buzzmath.com and click on the “Login” button at the top right corner of the web page.
  • What are the technical requirements to use Buzzmath?
Please refer to this page for the technical requirements.
  • Is it compatible with the iPad or iPhone?
The iPad Buzzmath app can be downloaded here. Buzzmath is not available on iPhone.

Teacher Questions
  • How do I subscribe my classes to Buzzmath?
Please send us an email to support@buzzmath.com, containing the information below:
For each class: Class name, number of students, and names of teachers linked to the class.
  • How much does it cost?
Please use our online quote calculator for a fast quote or call us at 1-888-528-8878.
  • When do the subscriptions start and end?
The subscription starts on Purchase Order reception and ends 365 days later.
  • How can I add students to my classes?
In your teacher account, click on Roster&Admin, click on your class name and take note of the student code. Give the student code to your new student and ask him/her to go on www.buzzmath.com/join to create an account.
If the class is full, you can Edit number of student licenses by clicking on this button.
  • What are the methods of payment available?
Your school can send us a check for the payment of the invoice or pay with any major credit card.
  • A student forgot his password. Can I change or reset it?
           Yes. First, sign in with your teacher's account. From you home page, click on Roster & Admin, then select the               class and click on Password beside the student's name.

Family Questions
  • How do I subscribe to Buzzmath?
Go to www.buzzmath.com/Families and select the family pass of your choice.
  • How much does it cost?
  • How many children can I subscribe?
You can have one parent account and up to 4 child accounts.
  • How do I add a child to my family subscription?
Once you log in your parent account, click on Manage my family. To create a new child account click on Add a child account and enter the first name, last name and password. Finally, click on Save modifications.
  • What are the methods of payment available?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Amex.
  • Do I have to purchase a one-year contract to use Buzzmath?
No! You can also buy a one month or a three months family pass.
